Licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer
We are a 5th generation family-owned funeral home in Columbus, Ohio looking for a Licensed Embalmer/Funeral Director.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate with excellent people skills and a passion for serving families and the local community. The qualified candidate should be a self-motivated, trustworthy and professional individual that can work independently. Must have a clean driving record, pass a background check, and be free of any medical condition that precludes heavy lifting.
Responsibilities for Licensed Embalmer/Funeral Director include but are not limited to: Making daytime removals (No night removals). Answering phones and data entry. Meeting with families to arrange services. Working visitation and funeral services. Embalming and preparation of the deceased. Overnight on call shifts and weekend duties are on rotation. Directing funerals and cremation services. Light housekeeping to keep the facilities and grounds in perfect order. This includes keeping work areas tidy, picking up litter on the grounds and general straightening up.

Compensation includes: competitive salary based on experience, paid time off for continuing education and paid vacation. All dues and license fees are paid by the funeral home.
