Notification of Death - Marilyn Rose Bartley

OFDA received word this morning about the death of Marilyn Rose (Jackson) Bartley. Mrs. Bartley was the owner and operator, with her husband Leroy, of the Bartley Funeral Home in Minerva. Mrs. Bartley died peacefully in her home Saturday, May 14, 2005 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was 77.

Mrs. Bartley is survived by her husband, Leroy; son, Roger (Sherry) Bartley; daughter, Catherine Marie (David) Viola; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the Lee Jackson Scholarship Fund c/o Minerva High School, 501 Almeda, Minerva, Ohio 44657; the Minerva United Methodist Church, 204 North Main Street, Minerva; or Alliance Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 885 South Sawburg Road Suite 106, Alliance, Ohio 44601.
