Notification of Death - Edla M. Thompson

OFDA received word this morning about the death of Edla M. Thompson. Edla along with her husband, Eugene B. Thompson, had owned and operated the Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier and Pioneer from 1937 until their retirement in 1979. Edla died August 30, 2005 at the age of 91.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband, Eugene B. Thompson; daughter, Mary Ellen Figgins; son, Jim (Janice) Thompson; four grandsons, Brad (Wendy) Humphreys, Rob J. Humphreys, Nathan (Tasha) Thompson and Seth (April) Thompson; and six great-grandchildren.
