Notification of Death - Ralph H. Greenisen

November 20, 2005

OFDA received word this afternoon about the death of Ralph H. Greenisen, 82, of Bryan, died Sunday, November 20, 2005 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Grayling, Michigan. He was the former owner of Greenisen Funeral Home which is now the Burr Funeral Home & Crematory. Mr. Greenisen retired from the funeral business in 1986.

Mr. Greenisen is survived by two daughters, Judith Ann (Michael) Lewis and Joyce Louise Greenisen; two grandchildren, Lee Thomas Lewis and Ann Louise Lewis (Joshua) Nichols; two great-granddaughters, Keegan Ann and Brooklyn Renee Nichols; and a brother, Ray Jacob Greenisen, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Alice Stoudt and a brother, John Greenisen.

Funeral services for Ralph H. Greenisen will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 1:30 PM in the Burr Funeral Home & Crematory-Bryan. Burial will follow in Shiffler Cemetery. The family will receive friends in the funeral home on Friday, November 25 from 2:00 5:00 PM and from 7:00 9:00 PM.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wesley United Methodist Church or the Bryan Area Foundation.
