Notification of Death - William Glynn Norton

OFDA received word this morning about the death of William Glynn Norton, 79, of Wellington, owner of Norton Funeral Home in Wellington, died Wednesday, December 28, 2005.

Mr. Norton started working at Andrews Funeral Home in Wellington in 1946. After graduating from the Cleveland College of Mortuary Science in 1950, he returned to Andrews Funeral Home and bought it in 1953. He was a member of NFDA, Greater Lorain FDA, OFDA, and Firelands Funeral Directors.

Mr. Norton is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mildred Lois (nee Mays); sons, W. Craig Norton and Jon K. Norton; two grandsons; sisters, Peggy Reed and Joan Whitney and brothers, Harold Norton and Dan Norton.

The family will receive friends Friday 2:00 9:00 PM at Norton Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington. (440) 647-3132.

A memorial service will be Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 12 Noon at the First United Methodist Church of Wellington, 127 Park Place, Wellington.
