Notification of Death - Wesley A. Root

OFDA received word this morning about the death of Wesley A. Root, 29 of Germantown, who died Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at Kettering Medical Center. Wes was the son of funeral director Jay Root who owns Arpp & Root Funeral Home in Germantown, Ohio.

Wes is survived by his wife Lisa (Breeding) Root and their daughter Rachel Emerson Root; his mother, Sue (Shimp) Root and father Jay (Carol) Root; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 7 from 4:00 9:00 PM at the Arpp & Root Funeral Home, 29 North Main Street, Germantown. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 10:30 AM at St. Johns United Church of Christ, 201 West Market Street, Germantown with burial following in Germantown Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Rachel Emerson Root college fund c/o the 1st National Bank of Germantown, 17 North Main Street, Germantown, Ohio.
