Notification of Death for Adeline Krompholc

September 20, 2006

OFDA received word this afternoon that Adeline Krompholc, 88, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at Alterra Sterling House. Mrs. Krompholc was the mother-in-law of funeral director, Tom Wappner of Wappner Funeral Directors, Mansfield.

Mrs. Krompholc worked as a seamstress. Adeline loved life and all her families and friends. The family would like to extend many thanks to Mrs. Krompholc's extended family and friends at Alterra Sterling House for their excellent care and friendship.

She is survived by one son, Karl Krompholc of Columbus; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Tom Wappner of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Rick and Rachel Wappner, Robb and Patty Wappner, and Ross Wappner; three great-grandchildren, Riley, Reese, and Miles Wappner; three sisters and brother-in-law, Claudine (Clo) Colangelo, Josephine (Jo) German, and Mary Ann and Leonard Kreinbehl; sister-in-law, Lehlia Colangelo; uncle, Anthony and Evelyn Musille; friends, Virginia Chirico, Annette Togliatti, Theresea Fulwider, Grace Harbaugh, and Delores Gers; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Karl in 1987; two brothers, Alex (Betty) Colangelo, and Michael Colangelo; sister, Annie Colangelo; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Ady Vogt; brother-in-law, Jack German; and aunt, Emma Benick.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Saturday, September 23, 2006 at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors conducted by Father Michael Zacharias. Friends may call from 12:00 to 1:30 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of North Central Ohio, St. Peter's Catholic Church, or the Alterra Sterling House.
