Justine Cora (Ocker) Hathaway

OFDA received word this afternoon that Justine Cora (Ocker) Hathaway, 94 of Eaton, Ohio died Wednesday, September 3, 2008. She was born February 1, 1914 Bellevue, OH to the late Arthur L. and Pamilla (Greenslade) Ocker. Mrs. Hathaway was the mother of Becky Boucher, former owner and funeral director of Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, Eaton, Ohio.

On October 26, 1940 she married Dr. Bryce Hedrick Hathaway who died July 3, 1992. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Bryce H. and Beverly Hathaway II, Westlake, OH; daughter and son-in-law Rebecca A. and Donald E. Boucher, Eaton, OH; four grandchildren Renee Hathaway, Akron, OH, Lauren (Brian) Rhodes, Pepper Pike, OH, Denise E. (Michael) Sanders, Eaton, OH and Bethany A. (Dr. Craig) Hewitt, Eaton, OH; seven great-grandchildren Garrett and Jack Sanders; A.J., Owen, Kaili, Elise and Jonathan Hewitt.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, September 8, 2008 at Girton-Schmidt-Boucher Funeral Home, 226 West Main Street, Eaton, Ohio. Burial will be in Mound Hill Union Cemetery, Eaton. The family will receive friends from 4:00 6:00 PM, Sunday, September 7, 2008 at the funeral home.
