OFDA received word this morning Robert J. Badstibner, age 66, of Solon has died. Bob was a retired Funeral Director / Embalmer for Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Mentor. Prior to Brunner Funeral Home he worked in the Hudson, Solon and Bedford area as a Funeral Director/ Embalmer. He was a licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer from 1968 until his retirement in 2007.

He was the beloved husband, companion and soulmate of Charlotte "Charlie" Paolone. Stepfather of Denise Mason. Grandfather of Breanna Mason. Son of the late Glenn and Marilynn Badstibner. Brother of David (Barbara) Badstibner. Nephew of Bob (Jean) Kengle. Uncle of Eric (Tammy), Bryan and Katie Badstibner. Survived by numerous cousins.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 23 at First Congregational Church of Twinsburg United Church of Christ, 9050 Church Street, Twinsburg. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 22 from 1:00-6:00 PM at BRUNNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 8466 Mentor Avenue, Mentor. Interment in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Solon.
