Ohio Cremation Laws and Regulations - Tuesday, June 19

Summary
This two-hour webinar consists of an in-depth examination of Ohio’s cremation laws and regulations. The eight-part analysis covers the legal aspects of licensing, right of disposition, requirements of the cremation authorization, crematory procedures and restrictions, cremation of donated bodies and body parts, disposition of cremated remains, crematory record-keeping responsibilities, and statutory immunity for funeral homes and crematories. All attendees will be provided a copy of the comprehensive Ohio Cremation Law Manual which covers each of the topics being discussed at the workshop.

Presenter - T. Scott Gilligan
T. Scott Gilligan is an attorney with Gilligan Law Offices in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Gilligan serves as the General Counsel to the Ohio Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association.

How to Attend
Join the live program from your office, home, or hotel room using a computer with high speed internet. You may ask questions, participate in surveys, and post comments from your computer during the program. Please note that credit (if available) is only provided to registered attendees participating at their own computer and phone. Simple instructions with a link to the program will be sent when you register and again the day before the webinar.
