Cotner Funeral Home serves the Reynoldsburg and greater Central Ohio Community. We serve a diverse group of families with unique needs that requires attention to detail with exceptional compassion. Our families first focus allows, and requires, our team to truly serve our community.
We have opportunities available for a licensed funeral director/embalmer or an apprenticeship position to someone starting their funeral service career.
As an independent family operated funeral home this position allows our directors to serve in many aspects of funeral service. For a licensed director this gives you the opportunity to use all of your skills and talents with the chance to focus on your passions. For an apprentice we provide the opportunity to grow your knowledge in areas of funeral service from pre need to at need, from embalming to cremating, as we operate our own crematory as well. We encourage our team members to operate independently with the freedom to serve familie under the leadership of our management.
We value the time of our team and provide a schedule that is flexible and open. Time off is scheduled and encouraged! Regular days and weekends off are always provided. While the needs of families are always met it’s done so through teamwork and communication. There are no overnight or weekend removals required. We work together to keep our team energized and encouraged.
